What is a safe area and bleed?

These terms help ensure your design prints cleanly and accurately.

• The safe area is the space inside the cut line. Keep key details like text and logos here so they don’t get trimmed off.
• The bleed is the area that extends past the edge of the sticker. It prevents white borders by making sure your background prints right to the edge.

Templates are optional, but helpful. Your proof will clearly show the bleed and safe area so you’ll know exactly how it will print.

• Use CMYK colour mode
• Set resolution to 300 DPI
• Convert all fonts to outlines or paths
• Add a 3mm bleed on all sides
• Keep key elements inside the safe area
• Save your file as PDF, AI, EPS, or high-resolution PNG

Circle vs round – what's the difference?

You might see both “circle stickers” and “round stickers” used to describe the same thing. And that’s because, in most cases, they are the same. Both terms refer to stickers with a perfectly circular shape.

So which one is correct? Technically, “circle” refers to the geometric shape, while “round” is more general and can describe anything with a curved or circular form. But when it comes to stickers, they’re used interchangeably.
