What are waterproof stickers?
Waterproof stickers are custom-printed on premium vinyl using UV-resistant inks, then sealed with a gloss or matt laminate. This protective layer adds durability, prevents fading, resists scratches, and repels moisture, even in extreme conditions.

Can you make waterproof stickers yourself?
Yes, you can. If you already have a sticker and want to make it waterproof, the easiest method is to apply a clear laminate sheet over the top. This creates a barrier that protects against water, fading, and surface damage. You can also use clear packing tape as a quick fix, though it won’t be as durable.
If you're making stickers from scratch, you’ll need printable vinyl, a home printer, and either self-adhesive laminate sheets or a laminator. After printing your design on the vinyl, apply the laminate, then cut the sticker to size using scissors or a cutting machine like a Cricut.
These methods can work well for personal use. But if you want a more durable, professional finish, ordering from a vinyl sticker printing service is your best option.
