When researching custom wall stickers, you often encounter the term wall decals. That is nothing you need to worry about when choosing wall decals. The word “sticker” and “decal” can be used interchangeably. Traditionally, decals refer to larger stickers, which is why you are more likely to see terms like wall decals or car decals instead of product decals or logo decals.

A custom wall decal can be used for anything ranging from a company logo to a personalized nursery. You can put a photo or image, quotes, lettering, signs, or any other type of design on your wall decal.
Wall decals come with a permanent, pressure-sensitive adhesive. That means that your wall stickers will not randomly peel off your wall. When you apply a wall decal in a room, you should expect it to be permanent. However, once you lift a corner, the wall decal will be easy to remove.
We use a decal adhesive designed to be removed without peeling paint away from the wall. We've conducted extensive testing and found that our custom decals don't remove paint from walls during these tests. However, we cannot guarantee that wall decals won't peel paint because all painted surfaces vary. If you want to test the wall decal in your room, you can try applying it in an inconspicuous place first.
Wait until your paint has dried completely before applying your wall decals in your room. The exact time will depend on your chosen paint, but we do recommend waiting at least 48 hours before applying custom wall decals.
personalized wall decals will stick to textured walls. The material we use for our custom wall decals is thick enough, but depending on the structure of your wall, textures can create air bubbles underneath the vinyl which can be difficult to remove or impact the look of your custom design.
