Artwork FAQs
If you've created your artwork in Canva, instead of downloading it and uploading it when ordering, it's better, quicker & easier to send us the share link.
It allows our designers to go into you file and get the bits they need in the correct format.
Just make sure you've selected the option 'Anyone with the link' and 'Can edit' in the collaboration link settings before sharing. The image below shows the settings you need:

If you're worried about confidentially, copy the necessary parts of your design into a new document and share that with us.

The bigger the file you can give us the better.
If you've got a bitmap file, created in Photoshop, or another tool, then export the biggest file you can. Ideally we like 300DPI @ 1:1 scale. That means if you're ordering a 40x40mm sticker, export it at 40x40mm with the DPI setting at 300.
If you've created vector artwork in a program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw, sending us the original file (AI or CDR) is the best. Just make sure you convert your font to outlines.
Canva is a popular design tool. Instead of exporting your artwork from Canva, send us the share link instead. It allows our designers to go in and export what they need with the correct settings. Here are instructions on how to create the proper share link in Canva.
Key takeaway: the bigger the file the better!
You could but we don't recommend it.
We will always proof your artwork and get in touch if we feel the resolution is too low. So you don't have to worry when ordering.
We recommend either sending us vector artwork or if you're sending bitmap artwork, submitting a 300 DPI resolution at a 1:1 scale of the sticker you want. Either of these will ensure the best output.
We have smart methods of increasing the resolution of bitmap images, but there is no replacement for sending high-resolution images or vector artwork.
A vector image uses geometrical formulas (maths) to represent images. It is not a file type, but describes what your design is made from. This is why you can easily save most file types as a vector.
Bitmaps are photos or images that are made of pixels. You have seen these before when you zoom into a photo you've taken - little dots that make up the larger picture.
We prefer vector images because the scale infinitely and our designers can change any element using a programme such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.
The mage below shows the difference when zooming in:

Either file type is ok.
If you are using bitmap images, try to have the highest resolution possible so when you want to scale, it doesn’t go blurry. We prefer 300DPI (dots per inch) at 1:1 scale. So if you want a 5x5cm sticker, export it at 5x5cm size.

No. However, if you'd like there are a few things you can do to your artwork to speed up the reviewing process, such as:
- Uploading a vector file
- Setting your colours to CMYK
- Converting text to outlines
You can find more details and how-tos in our print-ready checklist.
We can accept nearly any artwork you can provide. However, the best file type is vectors (PDF, EPS, SVG, AI, CDR) because they have incredible print quality, no matter the size.
If you send us a vector file, please
- convert text to curves/outlines
- convert colours to CMYK.
If you cannot provide a vector, send us the highest resolution bitmap possible; this will be a file type such as; JPEG, BMP, PNG.

Yes. Each design needs to be the same size and on the same material.
If you would like multiple designs of different sizes, you will need to add these to your cart separately.
Here is how you upload multiple files:
- Select the 'upload artwork' option on the pricing calculator
- Choose the number of designs you require
- Upload the file against each line that appears below and adjust the quantity as required.
- Add any relevant proofing instructions.
The image below helps to show what you'll see during this process:

We will send you a design proof of all of your artwork before printing, so you can be sure it's perfect before manufacturing starts.
No, you do not have to add a cutline yourself. Our design team can do that for you.
You can see the cutline on your design proof. It is magenta and will not be printed on your final sticker.
If you want to add your own, we have instructions on how to create a custom cutline.
