What makes stickers & labels sustainable?

Environmentally sustainable stickers refer to the overall impact on environmental resources. If a project cannot be continued indefinitely, it is not sustainable.

We will explain the difference between biodegradable, compostable & recyclable in the context of stickers. All of these can be sustainable:

• Biodegradable stickers are capable of being decomposed by bacteria or other living organisms and therefore avoiding pollution
• Compostable stickers disintegrate into natural elements in a compost environment, leaving no toxicity in the soil. This typically should happen in around 90 days.
• Recyclable stickers can be processed to make them suitable for reuse, ideally over & over again.

To sum up, biodegradable and compostable stickers are generally made from plant materials, whereas recyclable stickers can be made from recycled plastic.
